Early Competition Plan

Early competition – or the ability for a diverse range of market participants to take part in the market – is essential for innovation. It is encouraging new ways of working, aiming to seek the best solutions at a fair cost for consumers.

Stability Market Design

As more non-synchronous generation enters the system, the ESO needs to secure alternative sources of stability. We’re investigating the best option for an end-to-end Stability Market Design to enable an open, transparent and competitive market.
