Annual Conference 2020 - Distributed ReStart

On this page, you can find out details about our annual conference on 30 January 2020, and how to register.

The Distributed ReStart project (formerly known as Black Start from DER) is a partnership between National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO), SP Energy Networks (SPEN) and TNEI.

The conference is focussed is on the Distributed ReStart project and its deliverables across all workstreams.

The project explores how distributed energy resources (DER) can be used to restore power in the highly unlikely event of a total or partial shutdown of the National Electricity Transmission System.

Anyone who has the capability to actively contribute towards these future deliverables, or is a member of an organisation that is affected by our deliverables should attend this conference.

The format will consist of presentations and interview panels.
