CMFTP22: Abolition of National Consumer Council

The National Consumer Council was abolished on 1 April 2014 by The Public Bodies Order 2014 and its functions under the Electricity Act 1989 have been transferred to Citizens Advice and Citizens Advice Scotland. CMFTP229 seeks to reflect this change within the CUSC by replacing any reference to ‘the National Consumer Council’ with ‘Citizens Advice and ‘Citizens Advice Scotland’.
