Have your say on our future plan

We are working with stakeholders to develop our business plan. Find out how to share your views and feedback with us, so we can make sure we’re taking account of the things that are important to you.

Have your say in our planning for 2021 onwards

As we prepare our next business plan for the next RIIO regulatory price control starting in 2021, we’re encouraging anyone that has an interest in what we do to get involved.

We want to take account of a broad range of views about our changing industry and understand what’s important to our stakeholders.

How we’re involving you

We’re working with you through an engagement process that has three phases:

  1. Listen – to establish your priorities

  1. Co-create – to build the detail of our business plan with you

  1. Propose – to check our plan will deliver what you need.

During the ‘listen’ phase, we engaged with you to understand what you find important. Through an extensive programme of engagement, your insight helped us to draft, test and refine our consumer and stakeholder priorities.

You can read more about how these were created in our stakeholder engagement report by clicking on the link below.  We’re now working with you to develop the detail around our business plan proposals.

Our RIIO-2 draft business plan – July submission

On 1 July 2019, we submitted the newly separated Electricity System Operator’s (ESO) ambitious business plan to Ofgem’s RIIO-2 Challenge Group.

This is an exciting opportunity for us to engage with stakeholders to help us define and develop our role in a time of significant change.

You can download our plan and find out how we’re addressing an energy sector that’s undergoing massive transformation.

Upcoming events

We're holding engagement events at the Electricity National Control Centre in Wokingham.

Through these, we would like to understand your views on the areas of the business plan highlighted above and to give you an opportunity to get an idea of the size and scale of our operability challenge over the RIIO-2 period through a viewing gallery tour.

The same event will take place three times during July and August to accommodate as many people as possible during this popular holiday period. To sign up click on the link below:

08th August

Alongside our own RIIO-2 focused events we will also be attending existing industry meetings.

If you would like to talk to us in any more detail, arrange a  bilateral or find out more about any of our engagement activities, please email us at [email protected].
